Upcoming Auditions: "The Dixie Swim Club"
Aug. 29 and 30, 2010
(Sun, Mon)
7:00 p.m., Grand Opera House, Pierre
The Dixie Swim Club is the story of five unforgettable
women -- a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that
last forever. Five Southern women, whose friendships began many
years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend
every August to recharge those relationships. Free from
husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on
North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in
each other's lives. The play is written by Jessie Jones,
Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. It has roles for five women.
Production dates are Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 28-30, 2010. For more
information or to read a script, contact director
Alisa DeMers
at 280-3700 or assistant director
Tara Gregory at
295-1676. Learn more.
