Pierre Players Theater Rental Request Form

Pierre Players rents its theater, the Grand Opera House at 109 South Pierre Street in Pierre, based on availability between its productions. The Grand Opera House seats approximately 300 people. Services available upon request include box office, lights, sound and concessions.

Rental prices are as follows:
For-Profit Event: $250 for the first day, $150 for each additional day, plus 10% of ticket sales.
Non-Profit Event: $150 for the first day, $75 for each additional day, plus 5% of any ticket sales.
Private Events (weddings, graduations, etc.): $150 for the first day, $75 for each additional day.
Tech Fee (lights/sound): $50 each day need.
Concessions: Pierre Players will provide concessions upon request and retain any profits.
Rental Deposit: ALL renters will be charged an additional $100 refundable deposit.

Pierre Players also rents the Encore Room -- its box office/concession area next to the Grand Opera House at 107 South Pierre Street. The Encore Room could be rented for meetings, receptions, small events or performances. The room's capacity is 65 people, and chairs and tables are available for use. The cost is $100 for nonprofit events, and $150 for profit events.

 

If you are interested in renting the Grand Opera House or the Encore Room, please complete the following rental request form, which will be reviewed by Pierre Players’ Board of Governors. Rentals will be required to show proof of liability insurance which covers Pierre Players. Pierre Players does reserve the right to deny usage.
