Pierre Players Endowment

BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPOINTED FOR PIERRE PLAYERS ENDOWMENT FUND

Pierre Players is pleased to announce that a Board of Trustees has been named for their recently established Endowment Fund. Appointed were: John Clausen - President, Karen Lindbloom, Bernie Christenson, Ryan Riedy, and Jeff Hallem.

The trustees will provide independent direction for the Endowment Fund, and have, as their first order of business, instituted a fundraising goal of $25,000 during its first year. The total amount must be raised before any disbursements can be made for the benefit of Pierre Players. The trustees are confident that, with the community's help, this can be accomplished.

The Pierre Players Endowment Fund was established with the Oahe Foundation through the generosity of family and friends of Pauline Sherer. Mrs. Sherer was active in Pierre Players for many years as an actress and board member.

Donating to the Endowment is a way to honor the memory of people committed to community theater, people currently involved, or to simply support the future of community theater in the area. Individuals who wish to contribute toward this endeavor may send their gifts to: a BankWest bank nearest you or directly to Pierre Players, PO Box 192, Pierre, SD 57501. Checks should be made out to "Pierre Players Endowment."
